ようこそ!/ Yōkoso! Welcome!

You’ve entered the blog of the Japanarian; a librarian known for digitizing resources relating to Japan; hence the name.

Here you will find all sorts of information and resources about the Japanese way of life and culture; as presented in works of literature, film, and the media. Other areas include the World of Japan gallery (to the right—>) and online learning tool for the Japanese language; a simple and easy way to learn basic, yet essential, phrases if ever planning to go for a visit. You may also be interested in other pages such as the “Studio Ghibli & Miyazaki” section of this blog; a page dedicated to the works by the world renowned and famous animation film director; Hayao Miyazaki. Others include Haiku, anime, manga (Japanese graphic novels), music and more! Make sure you’re on the look-out for those!

The Japanarian appreciates your taking the time for viewing her webpage. Every visit made; she becomes one step closer in fulfilling her mission; to increase knowledge of Japan —one post at a time.

Contact the Japanarian for questions, comments, or suggestions regarding posts made on the blog.

Thank you very much! ありがとうございます/arigatou gozaimasu!
